Granted, it is getting extremely good, yet we lose something by using it. I recently watched Alien the other day, and they zoom out on the ship docked on a planet, and it lookes fucking real, becuase it is, probly a model or something but its real, not computers. As real and sophisticated as they are, there must be something that our eyes pick up that programmers havent figured out becuase I can tell the difference between CGI and "real" shots. Star wars 4,5, and 6 were awesome, shit looked real becuase they used huge models, star wars 1,2,and 3 looked like shit and were shit, done with CGI. They also sucked because of the fact that they were made for the sake of making money like the other matrixes, but thats another whole thing that pisses me off that I will have to talk about sometime.

Papers are Bullshit

I have to write a paper, and explain (in 1500 words), both the differences and simliraities between Cicero's Nature of the Gods, and Dante's Inferno. First of all, as with most assignments with word requirements, I can probably write all of my points in one perfectly coherent paper that is half the length of the minimum requirement. It is bullshit for me to be forced to sully my work by cramming in a bunch of mumbo jumbo space filling crap that has no other purpose than wasting both mine and the professor's time. To go even further, I could have a conversation with a professor and tell him in 3 minutes what it will take him 15 minutes to read, plus a conversation would better show understanding. It's all bullshit and if I'm ever a teacher like I hope, I'm going to change that.........anyways, I gotta get back to this paper, cya.
